Due to the situation of the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak globally, international flight operations have been affected. It is mandatory to provide personal contact information at the time of booking for all flights. Travel requirements and restrictions to your destination countries will be updated here.
TRAVELLING TO AFGHANISTAN
Passengers must have a negative PCR test report (test taken at least 96 hours prior). List of acceptable labs with barcodes clicks here. Passengers must carry 02 printed copies of the COVID-19 test certificate (SMS, WhatsApp / digital certificates are not acceptable). Passengers ensure that the lab certificate must have details e.g. Destination, Test Type, Report Validity, and the same bears the stamp or signature. Children below 12 years of age are exempt.
In case the passenger does not have a PCR report, they will be tested on arrival at Kabul airport by Afghanistan Govt officials.
TRAVELLING TO BAHRAIN
1- In line with the directives of the National Task Force for Combating COVID-19 and the Bahrain Government,
all arriving passengers must complete the health declaration form and undergo a PCR test (at their own expense) upon arrival.
Who is eligible to enter the Kingdom of Bahrain

At present, entry to the Kingdom is restricted to Bahraini citizens, residents, GCC citizens who don’t need visas.

Passengers eligible to obtain a visa on arrival, passengers with a valid eVisa, diplomats, military personnel, airline crew, or holders of official, service, or UN Passports.

Visit visa holders will not be accepted, this includes passengers who have preapproved e-visa. Visa on Arrival is temporarily suspended.
Before Departure:
PCR negative test is mandatory for all Pax from the age of SIX (06) and above arriving in BAH, PCR test must have QR code and be conducted not more than 48 hours before departure. List of acceptable labs with barcodes clicks here.
Arriving passengers must download the "BeAware Bahrain" mobile app.
PCR Test at BAH
All passengers arriving into the Kingdom of Bahrain must undergo a series of PCR tests (at their own expense) Costing BHD20.
Payments can be made electronically through the app, the national portal, www.Bahrain.bh, or via the payment machines located before Passport Control at the Arrivals Area.
1) The first test will take place on arrival and the second will take place five (5) days later.
2) The third and final test will take place on the 10th day of your stay in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Quarantine in BAH
1) All passengers shall quarantine for 10 days at a government-designated hotel licensed by the national health regulatory authority or their residence upon arrival.
2) Passengers arriving into Bahrain are required to provide proof of residence owned or rented by passengers or first family or NHRA authorizes prepaid hotel reservation (Details below) in their name before boarding their flights to Bahrain.

Exemption from PCR Test:
Cabin crew, diplomatic staff, children under the age of 6, and those arriving from medical travel are exempt.
Temperature screening at BAH Airport
In line with the regulations issued by the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and circular issued by Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA), all passengers and airline staff are screened at all entry points of the airport and at travel gates. If a passenger has a high fever, the relevant authorities shall take further action.
TRAVELLING TO CANADA
Effective July 6, 2021, until Aug 8, 2021, inclusive, fully vaccinated passengers may qualify for certain exemptions from quarantine and testing requirements. For further information, refer to the Official Government Website
As of August 9, 2021, fully vaccinated travelers who are permitted to enter Canada will no longer need to take the Day 1 COVID‑19 test on arrival unless randomly selected at the airport. Moreover, the three‑night hotel stay at a government-authorized hotel will no longer be required for all travelers.
Pre‑departure testing is still required for fully vaccinated travelers.
Vaccinated passengers are required to upload proof of vaccination on the most recent version of the ArriveCAN app. Evidence of fully vaccinated status must be shown at departure. Please refer to the Official Government Website for further information on entry requirements for fully vaccinated passengers.
Passengers are considered fully vaccinated if they meet the below conditions:

have received the full series of an accepted COVID‑19 vaccine or a combination of accepted vaccines

have received the last required dose at least 14 days prior to entering Canada

Entry Regulations
Passengers arriving in Canada may be subject to COVID‑19 measures or fines imposed by the provincial or territorial government for failure to comply with any protocols or regulations related to the management of the spread of the COVID‑19 virus. Fines may also be imposed if they provide health check information that they know to be false or misleading.

Travelers must provide proof of a negative COVID‑19 molecular test taken up to 72 hours before their scheduled departure time. List of acceptable labs with barcodes Clicks Here
Travelers must have a face mask on before boarding and wear a mask on board at all times
Travelers must comply with any instructions given by a gate agent or a crew member with respect to wearing a mask
Travelers must upload all relevant information on the most recent version of the ArriveCAN app and present proof of it.
Travelers will still be required to complete the 14‑day quarantine. However, travelers exempted from quarantine must be fully vaccinated by Health Canada’s approved vaccine ( Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssens Johnson & Johnson)
Passengers will be required to submit to a health check and answer the following questions at check‑in. Passengers may not be permitted to board depending on the response to the health questions.

Do you suspect that you have COVID‑19?

Have you been denied permission to board an aircraft in the previous 14 days for a medical reason related to COVID‑19?
COVID‑19 testing requirements
All international passengers from the age of 5 years and above who are traveling to Canada are required to complete a COVID‑19 PCR test 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure to Canada.

Passengers who have previously tested positive for COVID‑19 are required to provide proof of a positive COVID‑19 molecular test conducted between 14 and 90 days prior to departure, instead of a negative COVID‑19 molecular test.

TRAVELLING TO CHINA

Both nucleic acid and IgM antibody tests should be taken twice for passengers going from Pakistan to China via direct flights within 48 hours before boarding. They must take the tests at two different medical institutions designated by the Chinese embassy/consulates and then apply at the Chinese embassy/consulates for a green health code with the "HS" or "HDC" mark with certificates of both tests.

Passengers travelling to China are required to take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body samples at the departure city of their direct flight from Pakistan. At present, the departure cities of direct flights between Pakistan and China are Islamabad and Karachi.

All passengers who need to take off from Islamabad should come to the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan (alongside the Third Avenue) in person with passports for samples collection during the following time, PIA PK854: 9:00 am to 03:00 pm every Thursday,

All passengers who need to take off from Karachi should refer to the notice on the website of the Chinese Consulate General in Karachi for the information of the designated medical institutions and relevant requirements.

Serum IgM antibody sample should be collected through venous blood. Nucleic acid rt-PCR sample should be collected through a Nasopharyngeal swab.

After obtaining two reports of nucleic acid tests and two reports of serum IgM antibody test less than 0.5 ratios, passengers should apply at the Chinese embassy/consulates for a green health code with the "HS" or "HDC" mark.

All passengers who got vaccinated must show NADRA Immunization Certificates or Chinese vaccination certificate at the time of check-in at Airport.

The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan will obtain and verify results of nucleic acid and serum antibody tests through the portal of relevant test institutions. Passengers bound for China who board the plane in Islamabad do not need to upload certificates of nucleic acid and serum antibody tests.

It is highly recommended that all passengers getting the sample collected to carry out self-quarantine before boarding. During this period, unnecessary social contact and movement outside the home should be avoided.

Foreign passengers should fill in the information, declare their health status and upload a photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page, valid visa and direct flight ticket to the website http://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/, which will then be examined and verified by the Chinese Embassy. which will then be examined and verified by the Chinese embassy/consulates. Then they will get the green health code with the "HS" mark verification.

Passengers must present the green code within its validity period to check-in counter flying directly to China before boarding.

All passengers have to fill china customs declaration form online after check-in at the airport.

After arrival in china, passengers will be required to comply with and follow the epidemic prevention requirements and procedures of the local government.

TRAVELLING TO FRANCE
Passengers traveling from Pakistan will be allowed to enter France only for the reasons mentioned in the International Circulation Attestation form. They also commit to respect a 10 days quarantine or isolation measure notified at their arrival, presenting the supporting documents to the air carrier. Proof of their vaccination status; A sworn undertaking to self-isolate for seven days, and another sworn undertaking to take a biological virological screening test (PCR) at the end of the isolation period.
Following documents are required prior to boarding flight:
- Negative PCR or antigenic test no more than 48 hours prior to departure (departure of the first flight in case of connecting flights).
- Statement of Declaration that passenger does not show any symptom of COVID-19 and have no knowledge of being in contact with a COVID-19 case within 14 days before the flight.
- Public Health Passenger Locator form for contact information.
- International Circulation Attestation form to declare the purpose of travel to France.
Airline may subject passengers to temperature checks before boarding and will require passengers over 11 years of age to wear face masks.
Passengers wishing to travel to Metropolitan France must present the Certificate (Click Here) to the transport companies before boarding and to the border control authorities.
Failure to do so shall result in the passenger being denied boarding or access to the territory. Additionally, the following must be presented:
1) A sworn statement certifying the absence of COVID-19 symptoms and absence of any contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
2) A sworn statement to take an antigenic test or possibly undergo screening upon arrival.
3) A sworn statement to self-isolate for seven days, if necessary, in one of the facilities designated by the French authorities, along with a sworn statement to undergo a virological screening (PCR) test at the end of the isolation period.
4) For persons aged 11 years or more, Negative PCR or antigenic test no more than 48 hours prior to departure (departure of the first flight in case of connecting flights).

TRAVELLING TO KENYA

Passengers arriving from or who in the past 14 days have been in or transited through India are not allowed to enter (This does not apply to nationals and residents of Kenya).

Passengers entering or transiting through Kenya must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 96 hours before arrival. The test result must be in English (This does not apply to passengers younger than 5 years).

Passengers must complete the "Travelers Health Surveillance Form" online at https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration/. This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.

Nationals and residents of Kenya arriving from or who in the past 14 days have been in or transited through India are subject to a COVID-19 antigen test upon arrival.
TRAVELLING TO KOREA
All passengers traveling to Korea must have a negative PCR (COVID-19) test.

TRAVELLING TO KUWAIT
Prior to boarding the flight, passengers must follow these procedures:
1- Download and sign in to the Shlonik app, available on Google and Apple playstores.
2- Must hold negative PCR test taken up to 96 hours prior to arrival in Kuwait.
3- List of acceptable labs with barcodes clicks here. Passengers must carry 02 printed copies of COVID-19 test certificate (SMS, whatsapp / digital certificates are not acceptable). Further requirements are:
- Passengers to carry their PNR/booking reference, passport copy, CNIC, when visiting testing centers/labs, and contact Airline offices for confirmation of their test results.
- Cost of the PCR test and certificate will be borne by the passenger.
- Infants and children under 12 years are exempted from PCR testing if they are fit to travel and traveling with their parents who have tested negative.
All passengers traveling to Kuwait from Pakistan are subject to 14-days home quarantine after arrival.
TRAVELLING TO KYRGYZSTAN
Pakistani citizens who hold any valid visa (student/visit/work) can travel to Bishkek.

TRAVELLING TO UZBEKISTAN
All Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before the departure of the flight to Uzbekistan.

PCR exemption is for infants only (i.e. less than 2 years old).
TRAVELLING TO MALAYSIA

After arrival:
All passengers (including Malaysian nationals) will be expected to undergo screening procedures as follows:
1) Undergo a PCR test at the international entry points in Malaysia upon arrival. PCR test fees apply.

Fees for Malaysian Residents: PCR test (MYR 150) + RTK test (MYR 30)

Fees for Foreigners: PCR test (RM 250) + RTK test (MYR 30)
2) Present approval letter/email from the Malaysian Immigration Department. Malaysians and foreign nationals who exited during MCO on 18th March 2020 are not allowed to return during MCO without approval from DG Immigration.
3) Observe quarantine at government-designated quarantine centers and strictly adhere to the quarantine procedures set by the National Disaster Management Agency of Malaysia (NADMA) and the Ministry of Health (MoH). Quarantine rules are as follows:
- 07 days for passengers with PCR test (test taken within 72 hrs prior to departure).
- 10 days for passengers without PCR test.
Expenses of quarantine duration will be borne by the passenger, hence please ensure sufficient funds are available before departure:

TRAVELLING TO OMAN
Following requirements and procedures will be applicable for passengers traveling to Muscat:
Before boarding:
1) GCC & Omani citizens and residents with valid resident cards and valid visas are allowed to enter without any prior approval.
Healthcare workers and their families DO NOT Need "INSTITUTIONAL QUARANTINE". The healthcare personal have to show their work ID at the airport. (Click Here for details)
2) Effective 15 Feb 2021, 1200hrs.
i) visitors with new visas are allowed to enter Oman.
ii) MOFA approval is not required for non-Omani citizens. They must have international health insurance covering cost of treatment for COVID-19 for a period of at least one month.
iii) Passengers must have pre-confirmed hotel reservations for all arrivals on their flights covering the mandatory quarantine period (at least 7 nights) at their own expense.
iv) Passengers arriving in Oman can book accommodation at any hotel in Oman, or take advantage of the list of hotels prepared and updated by the competent authorities for institutional isolation and published via the platform of (Oman Vs Covidl9).
Exemptions from presenting pre-confirmed hotel reservations for below passengers categories;
a) Diplomats working at foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the Sultanate, diplomats visiting the Sultanate and their families.
b) Arrivals under the age of 16, and arrivals at the age of 60 and above.
c) Aircrew, subject to the precautionary measures issued by the Ministry of Health.
d) Sick passengers who obtain an exemption in writing from the concerned Health Authorities due to their medical circumstances.
e) Holders of permits for private institutional isolation centers that are pre-approved by the Relief & Shelter Sector.
3) Negative COVID test result is required, with the test conducted within 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of arrival in Oman. List of acceptable labs with barcodes clicks here. Passengers must carry 02 printed copies of COVID-19 test certificate (SMS, whatsapp / digital certificates are not acceptable). Passengers ensure that the lab certificate must have details e.g. Destination, Test Type, Report Validity, and same bears the stamp or signature.
All travelers are required to have international health insurance covering the cost of treatment from COVID-19 for one month (except for citizens, GCC nationals and passengers with free treatment cards)
4) Complete pre-registration via https://covid19.emushrif.om/traveler/travel for PCR test in Oman, pay OMR 25 test fees and download Tarassud+ app (available on Playstore/Appstore). Passengers will not be checked in if this requirement is not fulfilled.
After arrival:
All arriving passengers are subject to PCR test:

Arrivals for a period of 1-7 days: PCR test on arrival
-
Arrivals for a period of more than 7 days: PCR test on arrival + (Tarassud+) bracelet + quarantine of 7 days (bracelet must be worn & smartphone with the app must be on during entire quarantine period) + PCR test on 8th day

Children aged 15 and below are exempted from PCR testing and bracelet.
Travelers are required to self-report symptoms using the Tarassud app after arriving in Oman. After the quarantine period is over, travelers will need to report to the nearest Ministry of Health Center and have the bracelet removed by health professionals.
TRAVELLING TO QATAR
The Ministry of Public Health announced that it has been decided to implement new procedures to ensure the continued facilitation of the entry process into the State of Qatar through its air, land and seaports for travelers who have completed vaccination against the Corona virus (Covid-19) with vaccines approved by the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar, as of the date of 12 July 2021.
A new precautionary measure will be applied to citizens of Qatar, residents and visitors, which have been developed with the aim of making the travel experience easy and safe while preserving public health in the country and the measures previously taken to limit the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19).
Passengers coming to the State of Qatar from all Airports, ports will also have to preregister on the "Ehteraz" website (WWW.EHTERAZ.GOV.QA) and attach all the required documents before arriving in the State of Qatar for a period of no less than 12 hours. (Mandatory effective 12th July, 2021)

If EHTERAZ (Application for Advance Registration) is under process and approval pending or not received, Airline will not board the passenger. Mandatory, all passengers must register online via (WWW.EHTERAZ.GOV.QA), at least 12 Hrs, and upload the required official documents before the arrival in the state of Qatar.

Passengers must in possession of a TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION Printout, which is required to be presented to the airline ground staff at the point of origin to be allowed to enter Qatar.

All Terminating Passengers are required to install and activate the EHTERAZ smartphone application. Check-in agent shall ensure at the time of check-in the documents. Note passengers without EHTERAZ smartphone application must be offloaded at origin station.

If passengers boarded from the origin without Pre-EHTERAZ registration and approval, passengers will be fined.
-
The previous issued EEPs (Re-entry & Entry Permits) stand invalid and canceled effective 12-July, 2021.
Citizens, residents and visitors who have completed vaccination with vaccines approved by the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar when traveling to the State of Qatar, will need to conduct a PCR test at a health center approved by the Ministry of Health in the country from which they are coming. The certificate shall be valid for (72) hours upon their arrival in the State of Qatar. Note that this procedure applies to all citizens and residents who are not vaccinated.
Un-vaccinated travelers, vaccinated with other vaccines not recognized in the State of Qatar, and those who fall short of the 14 days vaccine administration period since the second dose:

Passengers will be subject to quarantine for a period depending on the country classification you travel from. Passengers will need to book a hotel package through Discover Qatar if you are coming from Red countries (Pakistan) (10 days).

In case of children accompanying their parents, where the parents had fulfilled all the vaccination requirements, still, the children need to undergo hotel quarantine for 7 days to be booked through Discover Qatar and to be accompanied by one of their parents.
The new procedures also included classification lists for countries of arrival (green, yellow, red) copy attached and a quarantine policy for each classification applied to travelers coming to the State of Qatar.

Prior to boarding a flight for Doha, passengers must hold the following documents:
1) Passport (with 06 months validity)
2) Qatar Residence Card
3) Exceptional Entry Permit. An application for an entry permit can be submitted through the Qatar portal website. (Validity of entry permit is one month from the date of issuance. After expiry a new application can be submitted)
4) Ehteraz app downloaded on their smartphones.
5) Health Assessment Form for Returning Travelers (to be completed before arrival in Qatar)
6) Quarantine Undertaking Form
7) Reservation in any of the designated/approved hotels for quarantine in Qatar. To confirm the approved hotel booking, please visit the Discover Qatar website.

8) PCR test certificate copy. The test must be conducted within 48 hours before flight departure. List of acceptable labs with barcodes clicks here. Passengers must carry 02 printed copies of COVID-19 test certificate (SMS, WhatsApp / digital certificates are not acceptable). Passengers ensure that lab certificate must have details e.g. Destination, Test Type, Report Validity and same bears the stamp or signature.
Children below the age of 12 years and infants who are traveling with the family members are exempt from PCR test if their parents test negative and are fit to travel as per Qatar's Ministry of Public Health directions.
9) Polio vaccination certificate.

TRAVELLING TO SAUDIA ARABIA
Direct Flights from Pakistan to Saudia will be resumed from 1st December 2021.
Passengers flying to Saudi Arabia must fulfill the following requirements
Effective from July 2021, Please follow GACA Advisory
1- As per the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) guideline, all the immunized (vaccinated) travelers arriving at the Kingdom (who are non-Saudis and from exempted groups) must fill out "The Registration Immunization Information Form" on https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/home
2- Be GCC citizens or non-Saudi holding a valid visa (exit/entry, residence/Iqama & visit) Tourist visa holders are not allowed. Visa status can be confirmed from here: https://muqeem.sa/#/visa-validity/check
3- Have negative PCR test result, test taken within 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Passengers will not be allowed to board otherwise. Children below 8 years of age are exempted. List of approved labs for PCR test.
4- Passengers should bring in 02 copies of PCR Test reports which will verify by Check-In staff and will keep the report for the record.
5- Fill in and sign the Health Disclaimer Form and hand it over to the health control center upon arrival at the airport.
6- Pakistan comes under restricted countries and the following Groups can travel as per GACA directions:
i) Non- Immune Saudi citizens:
a) (PCR) is not required before traveling.
b) Must comply with Home quarantine for (7) days and (PCR) test on the 5th day.
ii) Immune Saudi citizens: No procedure is applied.
iii) Immune Non-citizens:
a) Must provide (PCR) test that does not exceed (72) hours before boarding.
b) No quarantine is required nor (PCR) after arrival.
iv) Non-Immune Diplomats and their families and companions who are under (18):
a) Must provide (PCR) test that does not exceed (72) hours before boarding.
b) Must comply with home quarantine for (7) days and (PCR) test on the 5th day.
v) Non-Immune Health practitioners and their families:
a) Must provide (PCR) test that does not exceed (72) hours before boarding.
b) Working in Government sectors(Must comply with home quarantine for (7) days with (2) PCR tests, one within (24) hours and another on the 5th day).

After arrival in Saudia, passengers must comply with the following protocols:
1- Download and register on Tatamman and Tawakkalna apps, available on Google and Apple playstore. Assign home location within 8 hours of arrival.
2- Undergo 7-day home quarantine (negative PCR result at the end of quarantine period required).
3- Do daily health assessments in the Tatamman app and follow precautionary procedures as stated in the Health Disclaimer Form.
TRAVELLING TO THE UAE
Due change in travel advisory by DXB authorities making mandatory RAPID PCR test conducted within 04 Hours before Dep, this facility is not available with approved labs therefore DXB flights are closed for sale till Aug 12, 2021.
1) The DXB pax can be accepted on PAK-SHJ flights.
2) AAN flights are also OPEN for sale with given below travel advisory.
3) AUH flights are OPEN for sale effective Aug 11, 2021, with given below travel advisory.
The lab list pre-qualified for Canada can conduct PCR test and RAPID Test at the airport (04 hours before Dep). Labs will make arrangements at Airport close to PIA service Counter on their own.
FOR SKT / PEW / MUX: The approved lab list (attached) branches are acceptable at these stations (Concerned DM / PSM, kindly contact Labs and inform them to make their availability at airport 05 hours before dep)
Additional exempted Categories are allowed by NCEMA, UAE Government effective Aug 5, 2021, for Traveling from Pakistan to UAE, The AUH airport will allow effective Aug 11, 2021.
The categories:
Valid UAE Resident Visa holder, with complete vaccination doses in the UAE (Second Vaccination Dose must be at least 14 Days before Travel).
Following Special Categories holding Valid UAE resident visa are allowed whether vaccinated and non-vaccinated:
a) Medical staff working in UAE including the doctors, nurses and technicians.
b) Education sector staff, including teachers of universities, colleges, schools and institutes.
c) Students currently studying in UAE.
d) Humanitarian cases(for families’ reunion).
e) Governmental staff of federal and local entities.
f) Medical treatment cases in UAE.
Methods of implementation:
The passenger shall submit a request from 05Aug, 2021 onward, through the following sites, for the necessary approval.
A vaccination certificate should be uploaded for the Passengers with Valid Resident Visa, who got all the vaccination doses in UAE and completed 14 days after the second dose.

Procedures applied for the exempted categories:

DXB Visa Holders can only Travel to DXB with GDRFA Approval. However, SHJ Airport ALLOWS All Visa Holders to Arrive at SHJ Airport with ICA Approval (ICA Status Green)
Additional requirement for AUH/AAN airports
Quarantine for 10 days for all arrivals and PCR on day 4, and day 8.

After Arrival in UK:
After arrival in the UK from Pakistan, passengers must stay in Govt approved hotels for quarantine for 10 days quarantine period and take a COVID-19 test on day 2 and day 8. The hotels will be pre-booked before the departure of the flight.

NOTE: In view of EASA restrictions PIA has suspended its regular flight operations to UK and Europe. Steps are being taken to either directly restore operations or commence operations with a partner airline.

DOMESTIC TRAVELLING
As per Pakistan CAA Advisory Effective August 01, 2021;
1) COVID vaccination is mandatory for domestic air travel for passengers of 18 years and above age.
2) Passengers will have to present the NADRA vaccination certificate at the time of Check-in at the airport, downloaded from https://nims.nadra.gov.pk/nims.
3) The partially vaccinated / first dose have to show NADRA SMS from 1166 or partially vaccinated card downloaded from https://nims.nadra.gov.pk/nims
4) Following categories of passengers are exempted from this restriction;

A) Passenger below the age of 18 years.

C) Pakistani Nationals having documentary proof of vaccination abroad.

D) Patients who are clinically advised against vaccination due to risk of reaction.
5) International passenger traveling arriving in or departing from Pakistan and having connected domestic flights within 72hrs of arrival or departure respectively.
